Willa Smart is an artist and writer. Her writing has been published by Open Space (SFMOMA), Drain Magazine, Lumpen Magazine, Forty-Five: A Journal of Outside Research, Publication Studio Portland, among other places. Her erotic novel, Switch Wish, was published by Meekling Press in 2020. She has presented visual and performative work internationally at venues such as Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago, Miami's Department of Reflection, Centre for Contemporary Arts Glasgow, Carpenter Center for the Visual Arts, Contemporary Art Centre Vilnius, and Enjoy Contemporary Art Space (Te Whanganui-a-Tara).
